I guess they’re not all digitised yet but yeah, I’m interested

I have quite a lot that could be available for the Python if you are interested.

Huh, certainly looks like the same one, and not been treated very well in the intervening years if so, rather surprised they got rid of it

February 2016 at Cosford. There was no public access so the photo was taken looking through the polypropylene!

This one came from RRHT Coventry, now at East Mids Aeropark, don’t believe it was at Cosford before that but could be wrong on that. Would like to see that pic you took though if you have it still to compare.

I probably have some manuals / Armstrong Siddeley ephemera somewhere on the Python but I’d need time to dig them out.
The picture you put up at the beginning of the thread is of the Python at the RAF Museum at Cosford. I photographed it when it was stored (or dumped) in the polypropylene tunnel that the Dornier remnants were housed in. May I ask have you acquired this particular AS Python?

Not sure what it would be back then but any Maintenance manual? technical drawings? A way to confirm which model it is, anything that will help preserving/restoring it really.

What exactly is it you need?

Coventry Archives have a lot of papers for the Python. Probably the ‘go-to’ place for anything AS related.
