Any British aircraft loss in the French Alps ?

Dear all,

we would like to know which British bomber was lost in the French Alps. 

Reason why : this canister was found near Avrieux, this is not far from Modane and also West of Turin, it proably comes from a Wellington. We have no more data (no date, no information on crew.;)

we try to find out which aircraft it comes from : any loss in this area ?
