Polish Fighting Team/Skalski’s Circus assigned to 145 RAF Squadron (code letters ZX) painted on its planes numbers instead of individual letters. It already happened in the Desert Air Force (e.g. 92 and 601 RAF Squadron). So far, only a few code numbers can be seen in the photos or plans (e.g. ZX-1, ZX-5, ZX-8, ZX-9 and ZX-0) Does anyone have photos or suggestions how the code numbers of the other Spitfire Mk. IXc aircraft looked / could have looked like. Any help is appreciated.
