Boeing B-17 fuselage and nose section Universal Studios, Hollywood?

Hoping someone may know please if the following existed. According to the Warbirds Worldwide directory (Vol2?) there is listed (page 39) a Boeing B-17 fuselage and nose section at Universal Studios, Hollywood which was noted as seen in September 1988.

Was this a real example and does anyone know if its still there or was it sold on?.
