Nicosia MiG-21 (Czech)

I’m currently in Nicosia on business and have found via Euro Demobbed that there is a MiG-21 in the city. I passed the location yesterday but could see nothing… Can anyone confirm if this information is accurate?

That was my thought, but like you said, there is no information out there…

I did wonder if Wargaming Group (outside whose building it’s alleged to be) have taken it in for restoration or something but there’s nothing on the web pages showing the Group’s other projects.

This Mig-21 5210 was outside a military surplus store in Pratteln in Switzerland in 2017.   The only one I have seen in the last few years was a Mig-21U 0856 outside a similar surplus store near Sion airport. These stores often have bits of aeroplanes in them: there is a Vampire boom and tailplane not far from where I live

Ah sorry, Phil. I spotted 2019 at the bottom of the Afors webpage and assumed it was up to date. Of course, I was forgetting we’re almost at the end of the year!

I think that might be an old add as Eurodembbed mentions Switzerland as it’s former place.

That aircraft appears to be for sale at present with “transportation from Switzerland” available. Yours for 25000 Euros 🙂
