Anson Part number

I have a section of engine cowl that I think may be Anson.

The part numbers on it are

6A E768
6 _ 768
6C 768
7G E768
6E —
With inspectors stamps N in a circle
DTD in a circle
BZ

I think the E is Avro speak for cowling.

Any Anson cowl owners out there to confirm ?

Thank you. I was more convinced that it was an Avro part.

We’ve got an identical panel here at Ronaldsway. I’m sure I found a photo showing that the panel fitted around the Anson oil cooler somewhere but I can’t find it now.

Just a thought – as the Anson was Cheetah engined ( and cowled) so was the Oxford and Envoy etc. The Oxford was 10…. The Envoy would be 6…..

Although there are no letters in this Oxford part number.

The panel fasteners certainly look like the ones used in abundance on the Anson.
