NENE VALLEY AVIATION SOCIETY AND JAVELIN

Are there any members or friends of members of the society on the Forum?

I have the nose of the Javelin that used to be there and I hope to do some serious work on it this year.

I’m hoping that someone has the parts that were removed and/or photos of the cockpit. I did have a set of panels and controls for the side consoles and the area in front of them but there were stolen by a member of this forum who has a Javelin project in Germany.

Any leads on panels or photos of what used to be in there would be greatly appreciated. I can’t use APs etc because the cockpit was subject to non standard modifications and updates. SOme of the panels look to be standard Mk7 Javelin fit so they would be useful too.

I remember them being at Sywell many moons ago. My dad and I helped once or twice but for some reason didn’t continue. I do remember looking in the Whirlwinds and the Javelin but I don’t believe dad has any photos of the Javelin. I do recall there being an Auster frame as well.
IIRC NVAS were located in an old building between the Wellington Hangars and where Sloanes was built.
