Tony Haigh-Thomas had such a fleet of DH light aeroplanes many years ago – from memory he had a Gipsy, Tiger, Fox, Puss, Leopard, Hornet and a Moth Minor…

I want to see the Entomology pair…a Firefly and Mosquito…
And for those of you who remember your school Greek…The Lepidopterology flight would be a huge hit…Puss Moth, Gypsy Moth and the entire DH family.

When I made the post originally I did not realise you were all going to make such a meal of it…

I guess a Goose and Duck could be added to the nautical aviation airshow menu?

Of course if one still had the RAE Raspberry ripple paint scheme, it could go with the Cranberry…..

Yes, that would have been a sight to see roasting around the display circuit. Some good ideas sprouting…

How about a Hunter & a Jindivik? (Jindivik being Aborigine for ‘The Hunted one’)…..going off at a slight tangent……
