More sad news.

To the Skies

Stan Forsyth DFC passed away on the 22nd September aged 97 years.
Stan was in 100 Group, 192 Squadron – he was a Special Operator and was awarded t…he DFC for locating the Tirpitz in Norway.
His daughter Linda has stated. ‘We are still coming to terms with it all and miss him so much but he had a life well lived and we got to spend longer than many people do with their dads. The photo was taken at the IBCC opening ceremony earlier in the year and he had a wonderful time’
