I recently aquired Vol 2 of Japanese Secret Projects, Experimental Aircraft of the IJA Edwin M. Dyer as new. Vol 1 is out of print so I try to get it seconhand. Does anyone know if Vol 1 is just a reprint of the original (one volume) book from 2009 with a new cover or a revised issue, now titled Vol1 with parts of the original contents distributed on volume 2?

Some years ago in Japan I was presented with a book entitled ” The X planes of Imperial Japanese Army and Navy 1924-45″ It was no 8 of a series “Illustrated Warplane History” Copyright Shigeru Nohara .Green Arrow ISBN4-7663-3292-X Profusely illustrated with photographs, 3 -views and often detailed structural drawings of well over 200 types.Unfortunately of course most of the text is in Japanese but the main titles are also in English. It contains masses of data that I have not seen published elsewhere.

I don’t recognise the “of the IJA”part of the title: I have a book with a similar title published by Crecy. Volume I was published by Midland Counties and in my opinion was considerably superior.
