Boreham Airfield Control Tower ( Watch Room) to be demolished I am hearing

I have been told that the old watch tower at Boreham airfield used until recent weeks by NPAS and I think the Air Ambulance because the area is going to be for gravel extraction, most of the airfileds runways have gone over the past few years.
A real shame I have cycled up the old airfield many times even when it was home to Fords Development
Will be sad to see it go
