On the night of June 8, 1944 the bomber Avro Lancaster HK552/KO-J of the 115e squadron was shot down by a German Night Fighter . It falls in France in the town of Montchauvet Yvelines
On May 8 of each year, the inhabitants of Montchauvet pay tribute to the six crew members buried in the cemetery.
We would like to have, if possible, a photograph of the crew to better honor their memory at the ceremony.
With our thanks
P/O – John Edward TODD
Sgt – Albert George Edward MOUNT
F/Sgt – Tom BANFORD
Sgt – Ralph STAILWOOD
Sgt – Victor Franck SCRIVENS
Sgt – Frederick MORGAN
F/Sgt – AR TARLTON (POW)
