Pagham Harbour Typhoon recovery

Another newspaper clipping I came across – I can only assume that an ex-Barracuda pilot who worked weekends at my school gave it to me at the time.

The Napier Sabre was on display at the Tangmere museum for several years. However, it somehow got sold during a bit of an internal squabble. It’s now in private hands somewhere ‘up north’ but I’m unsure where. I was recently told that Ken Rimmel who will be known to some on here approached the owner with a view to buying it back but he wasn’t interested.

Was thinking about that one when on holiday in the area a few weeks ago. FlyPast something 1984 had a nice article about it.
