Tissues at the ready – Around 3.15pm today there was a Shackleton cockpit section heading north on the M11 near Duxford. It looked like the van towing it had its work cutout.

‘Mr Rusty’ arrived safely at NAM around lunchtime today, so the first visiting cockpit is now on site for Cockpit-Fest 2018 – there’s a mention about its arrival on the NAM website in this section! http://www.newarkairmuseum.org/Museum-Events

Presumably that’s what you saw Wyvernfan?

It sounds like ‘Mr Rusty’ is due for an earlier than anticipated arrival at Newark for #CockpitFest18 – mentioned in the Cockpit-Fest thread about these parts!

I understand that they have some ambitious Avro related plans for the future & this is their starting point!
