I have seen this bird wearing several different coats over the years but am curious to know how much does a different coat of paint cost to apply and how long does the respray take?

1517 man hours over about 10 days and a lot of money (9% of the total cost of the project) . 16 years for the paint (every second major maintenance for a complete bare metal strip). Scuff and paint every 8 years when the art and sqn codes get changed.
