We are disassembling 2 British TT Mk. 18 Canberra’s to move to another location. We are hoping to find a couple of special tools someone might be willing to loan (or rent) for removing the spar bolts in order to remove the wings. Any help or referrals to a possible source appreciated.
Part# EA1.88.359 Extractor, Main Plane Pick-up Pins
Part# EA1.88.363 Inserter, Main Plane Pick-up Pins
Thanks for any help you may be able to offer,
Curt

I suspect Junk Collector maybe correct.
Not had a reply, and I know some folk on the Canberra forum are doing similar sorts of related stuff. Or have done in the past RAF and otherwise.
Who cares what the serials are, a basic trawl of Demobbed should tell you that. Assuming he was moving them.
I give up sometimes

If you are in the USA have you considered contacting NASA, they have the weather canberras, bigger wings but I bet they probably mount to the fuselage the same, they may have the tooling. If you don’t ask and all that.

Curt, have you contacted the Ulster Aviation Society, they have tooling to remove wing pins.
They acquired this to help move their PR9 from Kemble.

I suggest these are WK142 and WJ614 at Falcon Field (KFFZ), Phoenix, AZ.

Curt
I have asked the folks on the EE Canberra Appreciation Group, over on Facebook. They may be able to help. As several folks on there are doing restorations etc
