The cowl has been on offer for several years and I received it yesterday.
It is ca. 3/4 of the upper cowl – starting from starboard side and came with authentic 1970’s faded Dyno tape label.
I was expecting to find multiple G5 stamps for Gloster and was disappointed.
I can find several RC Inspectors stamps.
There are some stamps and numbers on the end piece but they are heavily corroded.
What I can see are N in a circle; 4101; W12168; M?00
So was RC a sub contractor to Gloster for metalwork?

Good news after cleaning the steel sections I find it bristling with FB numbers. So the cowls were made by Bristol and not Gloster.
