Its the Lancaster/Stirling photo.
If you rotate the image so Lancaster part is on left, that is how the parts would would be fitted to the SBC.
On one side of the SBC is a mechanism that opens to release the bar, the part you have is on the other side, and is more like a hinge and is a permanent part of the SBC.
The spring loaded button is so you slide the parts along the SBC into locking holes to suit the bombs being carried.
There are three on the SBC in this photo, although only two are being used. They are holding in the bombs with a drop bar which you can’t see.

The SBC is sitting on a carrying tray, but should give you an idea on what to look for.
The bars (which you don’t have a photo of), drop away with the bombs.

Hi Adrian, thanks for your help. Do you mean the heavy corrodet part bottom left or top right?
Do you have a scetch or picture of this “drop bar brackets”?

Hi,
your heavy corroded steel part are the “drop bar brackets” from the small bomb container(for 4 Lbs incendiaries), copper part could be from the engine radiator??
Cheers,
Adrian

Hi
I can’t help with any of the parts but it sometimes helps if you could put up say two pics taken at different angles of each item and a rule placed next to the item to give some idea of size. Possibly a description of what you see and the materials involved, for example it looks like one of the parts has stranded wire in it which implies either electrical wire or bowden cable as part of its function, is the wire going into a connector with many pins?
The shiny part with the multiple spring ‘fingers’ for example could be something where radio frequency screening were required, as the other part looks like bakelite you could be talking radio?
Keep them coming though – I’m sure there is interest – just not recognition at the moment!
Chhers

Sondler 64,
I don’t immediately recognize any of these parts. I assume there are no part numbers visible which might provide a clue?
