Always hopped the ex Air Atlantique Proctor could have been acquired by the collection. Good news all the same.

The Falcon is a straight Falcon not Falcon Six

Nice purchase, I see its permit expired last October. I assume it will be restored to fly?

Now wouldn’t it be nice to see the Spartan Arrow G-ABWP in the collection at Old Warden considering it was a resident there many years ago.
In fact it was first owned by Richard Shuttleworth back in 1936!
Perhaps one day if funds allow, and the present owners wish to sell. Couldn’t go to a better home.

“Atonement for the move to Biggin Hill of Falcon Six G-AEEG, maybe!…..”
Although of course that was never part of the collection for them to sell and/or move anyway. It was in private hands.

They only need to buy an Auster – to own all the British greats!!

Atonement for the move to Biggin Hill of Falcon Six G-AEEG, maybe! Still, an engaging type I’ve never seen in the flesh. You win some, you lose some…

Atonement for the sale of ‘DPR?
AA…. Is any “atonement” really necessary? The aircraft went to a country with which it has very strong affiliations.
It is on public display. It is in a land where aviation heritage is taken more seriously than it is here, well I think so !!
I was sorry to see it depart. Would have preferred to see it remain here, airworthy.
However it is not in a totally inaccessible private collection. Now that would have been a “crime” !!
Great to see the Speed Six on its way to Shuttleworth. Remember, in my early “spotting” days, seeing it
being raced by Ron Payne. Shoreham Air Races 62…??? Your territory, as I recall AA ??

The Mew Gull has been back at Old Warden since October 2013!

Wonderful news, as a life member of the SVAS i’m really pleased my funds have gone to purchase a beautiful aircraft like this.
I was so sad when it left Shuttleworth many years ago, and was virtually hidden away at White Waltham.
Well done.

It could not go to a better home. Well done, Shuttleworth !
Perhaps when the time is right, it could be joined by the Mew Gull……..
