Does anyone have a current e-mail address, or other contact details, for Peter Amos? The e-mail address I have for him is of some vintage and is no longer effective. One of my French colleagues is anxious to contact him regarding the colour scheme of a particular French registered Hawk Major. Alternatively if you’re reading this, Peter, could you please send me a PM.

Thank you, David. I’ve sent you a PM and I’ll follow it up with an e-mail.

Often we have titles where an aircraft has a minor incident which is described as a ‘crash’ and there is outcry at the implication of the title! Then we have thread titles where its ‘Wigs and Scrochit’ and instantly there is the clamour for a retitle as it could imply something calamatous has happened !
I feel sorry for the pre internet generation who had to handle the likes of ‘King abdicates’or ‘Freddie Starr eat hamster’ directly off the headlines without pre cushioning !

A bit of thought doesn’t cost anything. I’m sure many of us know Peter and his great work and a title like that is a bit inconsiderate. That’s all.

Is there really a need to smooth the edges of any post that could possibly be misconstrued ? If palpitations are an issue – the internet is the wrong place to be visiting!

Can we change the title please? “Trying to contact” might save a few of us from heart palpitations.
