You’ll always have issues with sub-scale aircraft since you can’t shrink the cockpit.
And a full scale example will be dependent on engine cowl shape to achieve the proper look.
Here’s another firm doing a replica…as with the one mentioned n post#7, it has its good and lesser points.

PS…The last time I posted something about the firm here it was promptly banished to the GA forum as not being historic enough.
So might I assume that replicas are allowed again here?

I agree, in Trumper’s link, it looked quite weird and out of proportion even for a Mark 26 replica. Must be the camera angle?

Looks more like a frame with composite panels here and there. Not sure how the wings would be done if they were to be genuinely ‘made from CF’ rather than ‘panelled with CF’.
Still, looks good and with an open-port big block Chevy V8 it will sound nice!

Speaking of replica Spitfires in Australia

RELATED STORY: Why drive to work when you can fly?
A far north Queensland man has won his bid to fly his replica World War II-era Spitfire to work each day.
Tired of traffic snarls and road closures, Patrick English put in an application to the local council late last year to fly the plane from his private airstrip in the rural township of Koah to Cairns.
On Wednesday, Mareeba Shire Council approved his request to be allowed to use his airstrip all 365 days of the year, up from 52 days a year.
However, the result is not exactly what Mr English had been hoping for.

A cool project, and from the sound of it invaluable therapy too. It’ll be great to follow along with this.
