Hunter today

The ‘Dak thread prompted me.
There am I assembling a new *#*&^!*?? garden arch for Mrs Meteor when a noise makes me look up. A Hunter, I think a single seater, beetling south over our house just outside Newark. Time check, 1018am. Suppose that would have been a Scampton based one?

I had resigned myself to never seeing one in flight again.

I felt the same about the Tornado. Never really liked them when they were new – but now when I see one it’s stop everything and watch it go.

Thanks for that, all.
Funny thing……never really liked the Hunter as a youngster but the rarer they get the more nostalgic I get. Won’t be long before I come over all unnecessary at the sight of a Tornado!

I saw the Dutch one arrive on FR24. From what I saw, it flew much further south.
