On 15 April, 20 types of aircraft used by the RAF will be on display at the National Air and Space Museum’s Dulles airport facility.
The next day, many will take part in a special flypast over the city’s monuments.
The Historic Flight Foundation will be flying its RAF marked B-25 “GRUMPY” across the continent to join Spitfires, Hurricanes, Mustangs and the Canadian Warplane Heritage’s Lancaster in the event.
The Mitchell was formerly past of TFC as G-BYDR before being sold to Vulcan Warbirds who sold it to HFF, Vulcan’s neighbor at Paine Field in Everett, Washington.
I only learned about the event through an email from the group. If anyone else has a a news release, please post them.
