Saw this one and I have a few questions as to whether it is original..
The emblem was used on KG54 early aircraft.
The emblem must be a secondary emblem on the engine cowl. It is quite small at just over A4 size.
It is way too small to be on the fuselage.
If it was on the cowl the paint would be RLM 70/71 – the 65 did not start until low down on the circumference.
Alternatively some are shown painted on a blue background – darker than this RLM65 and blue rectangle would not extend down as far as the blue on this panel.
If it was an engine cowl – the Jumo engine cowl – the latches and internal structure ran vertically – not horizontally. The BMW were also vertical.
Some of the KG30 brolly/gunsights were on the outer ring – no catches.
The emblem has been painted roughly over/outside the drawn guide lines.
The gunsight emblem does not extend outside of the circle.
The interior paint is either dark green or very dirty.
Finally there appears to be yellow paint inside the rivet holes on top RHS.
Too suspicious ?

Per usual, the citizens of Orkney and Shetland get left out the loop.

This is a piece of ‘artwork’ by the late Alfie Batt.
I’m as certain as I can be that it was once in the collection of my late pal, Pat Burgess. His widow sold off his entire collection and, since then, bits and pieces of that collection have been seeing their way onto the market via eBay and other routes.
Pat knew it was a fake and knew its origins, but had this on the wall in his ‘den’ as a bit of fun.
So, definitely a fake I’m afraid.

It’s the none of the above. It’s the Erprobungsgruppe 210 emblem. In use on their Bf 110s during 1940.
