Simplified version, the X was pressurised, the XI wasn’t.

As the ‘X’ was a PR – Photo Reconnaissance model, try searching under ‘Spitfire PR X’
According to an appendix in the excellent book Spitfire, by Jeffrey Quill, the PR X had a 1475 hp Merlin 77 and a pressure cabin for high altitude work.
I’m sure that more exulted ones will update this thread much better than I could shortly. I know, don’t call me shortly !
