Can any Forumites help me a bit? I am rebuilding Miles Gemini ex G-AKHW and had a copy of the pilots report by Mike Jerram from Aeroplane Monthly December 1986 and January 1987. I lent this to a visitor to copy but both he and my copies of the report have vanished. My plea is if anyone can scan me the articles and Email them to vintageaircraft@xtra.co.nz I would be most grateful.( Reward? A flight in said Gemini or Messenger or Cub or Auster or Moth Minor or Tiger or Aeronca or whatever.)

Thank you skeeler. Have just arrived at the hangar so will check the Emails. By the way, if any forumites are in NZ ( Auckland) the offer of visits and possible flights is always on. I am at the hangar at North Shore Airfield every day except Shristmas day when “She Herself requires my presence” and the above aeroplanes are here.

Stan, Full article via email as a PDF has just been sent to your email provided. I hope that it’s what you were wanting. No reward required.

Hi Stan,
not sure if this is what you are looking for or not but they are £3 each and i would think it helps to have a physical issue?

Someone gave me a complete run of Aeroplane from the 1st issue until about 2016. Will have a look through them when get home. Seem to remember the Gemini being on the front cover of one of them.

Keep us updated as to whether you get your copies Stan. If you don’t have any success, I am pretty sure that I will have them somewhere in storage and will dig them out, but it will be a bit of a mammoth task. Good luck.

That’s a very generous reward Stan Smith, I am disappointed that I don’t have a copy of the articles and could take you up on your offer!

Stan, Mike Jerram was (and still is) mostly associated with Pilot mag – I think I do vaguely recall a cover with a Gemini on it, I’ll try and dig that out later on.
