Can anyone help, i am looking for pictures of the aerodrome and buildings that were taken in the 70`s and 80`s, particularly the hangers and dispersal’s/aircraft pens,
i posted on the Airfield information forum but not got too much of a response. I have the pictorial history book plus another, The History of the RAF at North Weald, i visited there several times during that period as a teenager and distinctly remember the Ongar radio station masts, again any pictures appreciated…………..Martin

If you haven’t been to the museum it may be worth it. There are many photos in the displays some of them may not be in the books.
I believe it reopens around Easter then at weekends.
