I am not sure if anyone picked up on this just before Christmas but it has only just come too my attention. The lady who talked down the Dambusters that made it home has passed away. The whole story is on this Daily Flail link and unlike many of their stories this one is reasonably accurate. I was fortunate too meet both Maureen and Steve a couple of years ago and they were great company. RIP Maureen.
