I found this entry whilst perusing the saleroom auction site:
With what little information can be gathered from the images it does seem that it may be Bader’s logbook (or a copy thereof) for the 1940 period.
I have contacted the auction house who have given me a reply to the effect that they don’t want to make any comment!
Any thoughts?
Regards
Ian

It’s one of those folder type publications with lots of facsimile documents and such enclosed, rather good. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Battle-Britain-Experience-Richard-Overy/dp/0233004521

Thanks

real logbooks are not held together by staples, they are bound bookstyle.

….. and now, perhaps, we know why the auction house ‘don’t want to make any comment’? Caveat emptor.

The initials on the logbook – D.R.S. a bit too much of a coincidence for the surname to read ‘Baden’, when you consider ‘Douglas Robert Steuart Bader’

Does the ephemera include any hotel bills? I dare say that these would clinch it!

Doesn’t it belong to one ‘BADEN’ rather than Bader?

I am not certain but it looks like the contents of one of those ‘modern’ style books with loose items that slip into envelopes.
I recall that there was a BoB one released a few years ago.
I’m pretty sure that Baders original log book is stored at the National archives.
