This Seafire is in the ‘ones that got away’ category between 1955 and 1970.

The serial is still unknown. The caption in the boo reads:-

Despite lengthy research
over many years the FAA
pundits have yet to put an
identity to this Mk XV
Seafire which was
photographed
at Eastleigh on 31 July
1957.
