Can anyone ID this boost gauge?

A mate has been restoring this vintage drag bike and the boost gauge looks WW2 ish, can anyone give us an idea what it could be off? thanks.

Looks like 6A/789 -4 +16 lbs, Spitfire Mk V,VIII,IX .Great to see it still being used.
