After over 30 years of searching. Junkers 88 A5 Werke No 8138 crash site has been found and recovered by Lancashire Aircraft Investigation Team (LAIT) in conjunction with North West Heritage and Natural England.
The Recovery can be seen on the History Channel on Monday 9th October 2017 at 9pm.

Artefacts recovered are currently under conservation and will soon be displayed at LAIT’s new Museum at Hangar 42 Blackpool Airport , the home of Lytham St’annes Spitfire Ground display team.
