Hi,
I was wondering if there are any photos of MH434 from the war? I’d quite like some for various projects, and usually warbirds are somewhat different in 2017 than what they were in the 40s.
Any photos would be greatly appricated
Thanks

Ah yes! Bill gave me all his negatives of 434 taken on that day. Half a dozen from memory.

Here’s the link to another picture taken on the same day (which came via 434s then pilot. Bill Burge) and in the possession of Peter Arnold, or Mark12 to us forumites.
Cheers

Thank you all for the help.
Does anyone know what the white “paint” (?) is over the D?

There is definitely one of MH434 being serviced whilst with 222 Squadron. She has the short air intake under the nose that was associated with the earlier marks, and she sports wheel hub covers too. She also has an external centreline fuel tank on as well.

At least one that I know of, taken at Hornchurch with 222 Squadron.
