The Vintage Aviator Ltd has temporarily suspended all sales of its aircraft, engines and accessories due to an investigation relating to purchases made since mid-2016,” Sheehan said.
The Vintage Aviator’s website says it has suspended sales due to an internal investigation.
Sheehan said De Marco, Vintage Aviator’s production manager, “is on leave”.
Contacted for comment, De Marco said he had not been at the company for about two weeks, as he was in the United States with family.
He declined to discuss his knowledge of the investigation.
