It has just been announced that the Hanger 10 Me 109 G-12 will star at the Battle of Britain Air Show at Headcorn Aerodrome on Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th July.

Should we call this a ‘Buchon G-12’ when it has its Merlin fitted and a ‘Bf109G-12’ only when it is operating with the D-B engine?
Nice footage from the formation flight. I wonder why that rear seat was empty though, have they flown with a suitable load of ballast in the back yet?

If you come to the Battle of Britain show don’t forget to visit the Lashenden Air Warfare Museum at the eastern end of the airfield. We are open on both days with free admission. It is hoped that the Fi103R-4 Reichenberg will be on display in the museums new display hall. Also the museum has an excellent shop with a large range of books, die-cast & Airfix. We also sell air band radios.

They’ll perhaps fit the DB605 if they get paid enough. ; )
Hangar10 had the aircraft test-flown yesterday in the Buchon configuration, and there are some nice air-to-air photos to the Hangar10 Facebook page – Klaus Plasa flying the Buchon/Bf-109G-12 in formation with Rob Davies in the Hangar10 Spitfire Mk.XVIII (https://www.facebook.com/Hangar10-274625062665594/):

Got to admit, the more I see it, the more I’m actually liking it.

I’m confused. I could have sworn I saw a video some time ago of a DB605 powered G12. Is my memory playing tricks on me or is there another one?
