Can anyone advise me on a company that can make up a custom batch of paint please? This shade isn’t on any of the British Standard colour chips. The paint should ideally be a 2pack epoxy… This is for the interior of the Whitley front turret. Can anyone help?

Elliot I have had paint mixed from a scrap of old paint. The company colourweld – took a sample – sent it to a lab in Manchester to get its colour measured and transferred into a recipe – which they then mixed for me.
I had both cellulose and two part mixed in this way. Why are you using modern paint rather than cellulose ?
Give them a call.

Approvals
This list includes companies / organisations that have approved Indestructible as a supplier of specialist coatings. This has to be in place often before the organisation can approve products made by us. We list some old approvals such as Lucas (then TRW : now Goodrich) and Hawker-Siddeley: (Now BAe / Airbus / Gulfstream): Vickers Armstrong etc, as old drawings often call up defunct companies.

Most car paint motor factors should be able to match a sample – however small. I have the same issue with the British WW2 Standard Camouflage Colours (SCCs) for military vehicles – which did not appear in BS381. Contrary to popular belief not all British vehicles were painted green……….
