At 2055 last evening, Spitfire RAB flew over the barn in the southwestern part of the town of Eelde where Wing Commander Rolf Arne Berg was shot down and killed in February of 1945. Took a trip down to Goodwood yesterday 01/06/17 – First time visitor so not really knowing what to expect.
Had a wonderful couple of hours in the sunshine and got to see RR232, looking rather nice in her new colours, head off for what I think must have been a photoshoot with one of the locally based Harvards.
Hope you enjoy these few snaps as she took off.
And as a bonus here is a couple of the other Spitfire flying yesterday.
