My Grandfather served as a Signals Officer with the SAAF at Broken Hill, Northern Rhodesia in the early part of WW2. Among the photographs he took at the time were these of a Swordfish which visited there.
It seems a bit far from home – would anyone have an idea as to what it might have been doing there?
