Its a bit of a long shot but does anyone have a copy of the Manual of Instructions for the Operation and Maintenance of the C.30A, or know of someone who does?
I have an original copy but it was produced on a spirit duplicator and legibility is not one of its strengths.
I’ve promised a copy to a mate who has a modern autogyro and as photocopying does nothing to aid the legibility I’ve sat down and copied it into a WORD document.
During the process I noticed that the manual had a duplicate copy of one page and is missing another. So here is the long shot, does anyone have one of these manuals that has a legible page 21 which cover points 1 to 6 of the process of starting the rotors prior to flight.
PS if anyone can help I’ve got a spare page 19 to swop.

I have to say I was only the messenger.
My friend Gordon Fraser supplied the page.
He has been collecting info for years about these machines.
His father used to fly them as radar calibration targets.

Graeme, Sir you are a gentleman and a scholar.
I am no longer puzzled as to what the missing text says.

I finally got around to asking the Helicopter museum today, they were unable to help but I hope they appreciate the copies of the two documents (C 19 and C 30A handbooks) I’ve sent them.
For those of you who are interested here is one of the illustrations.

Looking at the number of items that needed greasing daily or after only 5 or 10 hours flying these things must have left a grease slick in their wake
