My friend Roy Levin bought, at a yard sale, an envelope with these photos mailed from NORTH GERMAN LLOYD Pier 4, Brooklyn, N.Y. in December 1931. The aircraft had crashed earlier on 5 October 1931 in Cobequid Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada. There are post marks from Brooklyn, New York, Halifax and Truro. The recipient, Mabel Faulkner, lived in the village of Noel on the shore of Cobequid Bay where the aircraft crashed.
