I am very pleased to say we are hosting another Bomber Command Veteran signing event On Saturday 6th May 2017. Money raised is in aid of the International Bomber Command Memorial, one of our veterans celebrated his 100th birthday this year, they are a remarkable bunch of men and I am humbled every time I meet them. Please can I ask anyone able to attend to do so, your support to this event would be much appreciated, it is also a good opportunity to see the museum, we will also be doing guided tours of our restoration workshop too. We are also very keen to hear from any more Bomber Command veterans who can attend the signing, the offer of a free duck roast courtesty of the museum often does the trick!!
Details are on the Wings website and I will shortly be posting on the Wings Facebook page a poster to advertise the event, if anyone can help support the event by printing the poster and placing it in a public place or in museums/libarys etc. we would be very grateful for the help. Thanks for reading and hope to see some of you there on the day.

Just a quick update on this event, it was a Wings record breaker!
The public support was amazing. We raised £1,703.52 for the International Bomber Command Memorial and the RAFBF.

Just getting some info through that we will be having an unsigned veteran with us on Saturday 6th May – a Fairy Swordfish back seater who served on HMS Niarana as well as others, more details to follow.
