Can anybody identify or find any reference to this early item of radio test equipment, with AM Stores Reference 10S/7188?
Possibly a Wavemeter or similar, from the style of the components it looks to be prewar in origin.
I don’t own it (I wish I did!), the owner has posed the same question on the VMARS email reflector.
Many thanks,
Andy

Ed, many thanks.
It has been suggested that it could be a ‘Syntoniser’, an early form of heterodyne wavemeter, probably early 30’s in origin.
Any information helpful!

I don’t know anything about radio equipment but I do know two wartime RAF radio engineers, one of whom joined in ’39, so I shall ask them if they recognise what you have there. Neither are on the internet, so it may take me up to two weeks before I get any kind of answer.
