Indeed Pembo, Planetair operated to Malaga with an AEU 737, Faro with an Air Luxor A321, Palma with a Hola 733, and Tenerife with an LTE A321 in the summer of 2003, and they operated some of Winter 2004 to TFS with an Spanair (I think…) A320.
Apparantly TFS was the only route that made any money due to the intense competition with Jet2 on the other routes (FAO now daily,AGP 3 daily and ALC 2 daily, proving that the demand was there, just that Jet2 had got the market sewn up), and the summer after they planned to operate Tenerife and Arrecife with a SCY operated Finnair 757, and Malta with an Air Malta A320 (I think). Unfortunately they folded between summer 2003 and summer 2004.
At least we now have TFS operated by Jet2, and Malta operated by BritishJet (Loco wise, of course we still have the weekly Air Malta A320 and the Tenerife charters).
I expect ACE and maybe LPA to be announced by Jet2 in the future, and maybe Cyprus? We’ll have to wait and see :D.
