Is there anyone out there who remembers or was involved in this goodwill tour. I was at Binbrook for summer camp with the ATC and remember the fantastic sight of the 16 Lincolns taking off. Marshall of the Royal Air Force Lord Tedder was present and the Lincolns . one by one, flew past the control tower dipping their wings as they flew off.
