Thanks for the updated pictures and although I’m unlikely to ever get the chance to visit, it seems they have some interesting airframes there plus the ’88 looks very impressive!

Thumbs up to all concerned…

Looks like there has been some additional restoration since my visit in 2014 even though the Museum was closed.

Hi Tony,

These photos were taken yesterday by Bjarne Hørsandlien Olsen in connection with the recordings for a movie.

Cheers
Rob

Northrop N-3PB?

Yes the Northop. Beautiful aircraft. I have visited the museum twice and it has an impressive collection. The Ju-88 restoration project
was also fantastic (with two on the go at the time of my last visit 2010).

Thanks, must admit the the wing guns confused me but the shape the the wing tip, pitot position, wing tip lights, 2 blade propeller and what looks like, a centrally positioned float gave an impression of the Kingfisher!

Forgotten the 2 Ju 88’s, are there any up-to-date images of the two restorations?

Vought Kingfisher?
