Help needed to ID some parts…….

Good evening gents,

So as the title said, I need to tap into the collective knowledge of keypublishing to ID a variety of parts we’ve been donated. Please note, they are not for sale/trade etc, we’re just looking to work out what type(s) they belong to, and in some cases, what they actually are! Looking at them, gotta be WW2 ear and British, by my knowledge from that era is lacking!

1 – A general view

I don’t see a Beam Approach indicator there, but I do see a Left-Right meter for the DF receiver (part of the R1155).

Nice stuff there! A box of later war/50s stuff, a nice Spit type RPM, undercarriage switch also suitable for typhoon. Beam app indicator, turret oxy gauge, std drift knee pad, ht course ias thingy standard fit to many aircraft incl spit, hurri, tyffie etc etc. Later type iffswitch box for signalling code of day using nav lights – part of identification, friend or foe.

Okey dokey.

No 2 is a standard bomb selector panel. Lanc, Mossie and so on

No 4 is a Lancaster type undercarriage indicator

No 5 has a mag switch which will fit many things, including Spitfire and Chipmunk. It also has an undercarriage lamp switch, which could be used on Lancaster. Lastly, a standard Morse key, used in everything.

No 7 is a standard bomb distributor. Mossie, Lanc and so on.
