FP April 2017 Avro Ashton Flypost article

I am hoping someone may be able to help with a question I have about the Avro Ashton article and the Images sent in by Fred Riding. My father served on 90 Sqn during his national service he was a rigger and I believe he may be the airman stood in the centre of the trio. He is 81 on Saturday (25 Mar 2017) and it would be great if I could find out if it was him or not as I will be making the trip from Somerset where I live to Kent to see him and take on a trip to the RAF Museum at Hendon for a visit.

If anyone could help or point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated, I did quiz him about it over the phone in our weekly chat, but he will be 81 on his birthday and sometimes states that his memory isn’t what it used to be.

Kindest Regards

All little bit of ‘Red Nose Day’ fun noted with the Avro Ashton at Newark!

To be honest I haven’t seen the Ashton article mentioned by the OP, but would be delighted to try and help if I can! 🙂
