hi all
wondering if anyone could tell me what this access panel is for on the wing of the Me 109E? As it is close to the wing cannon I assume it is for access to that weapon position, but wouldn’t mind knowing for sure.

Looks like it’s a harmonization or other adjustment for the wing 20mm cannon/machine gun pos’n.
