Manston would be better, I agree. But the airport has virtually no public transport links to anywhere. It would need to upgrade it’s facilities a lot more to make it viable. Ten minutes to Ramsgate is by car, or two or three hours on foot!

I think if passager services did start there would be a bus link;) Plus Cityhopper would be ok at Lydd for LYD-AMS

Does anyone know if there will be an airshow again this year at Lydd and if so what aircraft will be participating. Last years airshow was pretty good considering it was a first for the airport (and things can only get better!).
