Yes that’s right on 14/2/17 F-WWDD A380 will be donated to Musee d’la air at Le Bourget. Also the Aeroscopia musuem at Toulouse will later gain A320 MSN001 ,A340 MSN360 and A380 MSN2 F-WXXL. God knows how those will be preserved long term without a giant hangar?
Must be getting old if the A380 is now historic!

If they need any spare parts for the A340 they could get them here:

That one has long gone: scrapped soon afterwards and discretely disposed of.

Thanks for posting. If you want to feel even older, the first few 787’s went to museums even quicker….
Yes, a Rolls Royce-powered 787 prototype is in the Pima museum. It’s not roped off so I spent an interesting half hour looking at the composite details of its airframe.

I think an A350 is due to go on display (in Toulouse area, not airfield?) also.
There have been a pair of A350’s parked engine less at Toulouse for a year or so. Good job the Toulouse museum has quite a bit of vacant ground. It’s a great place if you are ever in the area.

A commendable approach by Airbus which follows similar work by Boeing.
It is as pity that our UK industry did not have a similar outlook and support the collection at Duxford which should really have had a HS 748, BAe 146, Shorts SD360 to name a few

Perhaps Airbus could rent a large slice of the Sahara ?

Perhaps it could be used to house a museum!
